So my friend likes to make youtube music videos for the fun of it and I noticed that he likes to feature this chinese actress in all of his music videos. I asked him if he has a crush on her and he denies and says he doesn't but he often post about her in facebook group gearing towards her fans and he claims that she is cute often. Does it sound like he has a crush on her? Below is an example of the type of videos that he creates.

To me, it does sound as if he has a crush on her or at least some kind of special interest in her. That is nothing unusual. A lot of people secretly crush on people while in a relationship.

Of course that he will deny it because admitting it may cause problems in the relationship. How could he explain that besides you, he likes someone else more than just one normally would. I also believe that you have nothing to fear as long as he does not replace the wallpaper with her portraits and that he does not have a shrine where he worships her.

It is pretty innocent at the time but if his infatuation continues, you should intervene because it would be more than just a temporary crush and at the end, your relationship may suffer under his fantasy because you would probably not tolerate it much longer.
