Why is my boyfriend mad at me for chilling with a homie?

Basically I was chilling with my homeboy and my boyfriend saw, he knows that the guy I was chilling with is my homie but when I tried to wave at him he was looking down and left and I tried calling him and texting him but he's been ignoring all my texts and ignoring my phone calls, I don't understand what his problem is, what should I do?

I mean it could be something else if he hasn't actually said anything but I'm guessing he thought there was cheating for some reason? Some guys are just insecure/jealous, he might suspect your friend is into you, etc. But there could also be something else going on in his life and this was just a coincidence. I'd say shoot him a message saying you'll give him a few days if he needs and if he doesn't get back to you in that time to at least tell you what's going on, lowkey just end it with him (but def don't present that as an ultimatum when you say you'll give him time). Even if something is happening in his life that you don't know about, refusing to talk about it is immature verging on manipulative.

It could be a few things. Maybe jealous. Most men know, especially if their girl is cute that males aren’t really just there for friendships, they’re there to try to bang her. You may think he’s your friend, but again if you’re cute there’s a very high chance that he wants to sleep w you. Maybe your boyfriend is going through some things right now. Maybe he wanted to be w you alone but because you were w someone else he just left. But I’m thinking it’s the first thing I mentioned. He’s mad, jealous.
