how to forgive yourself for loving a highly unkind man who you didn't even know that well who didn't love you back and completely destroyed you confidence?

this man made be believe i was to ugly for him when i dont think i am ugly. i am not narsistic but i dont see myself as ugly yet this man managed to make me see myself like that. sometime i think back about him and wonder if he was the devil or at least sent by the devil

You don't need to forgive yourself because you didn't do anything wrong, he is the one who should be ashamed of what he did to you.

You just fell in love with wrong person, unfortunately that happens sometimes. Love is blind. Now you know what type of man to avoid.

I humbly suggest you seek counseling to help you with your confidence, if you haven't done it already.

Just think ‘everybody makes mistakes’- it’s so cliche but it’s true! I’m sure everyone has an ex they regret, you’re not the only one 🙂

Just learn from your mistakes and don't accept bad treatment from anyone. If somebody treats you badly, just cut them out of your life and stay away from them. Or kick their ass.
