He was always very flirty with me which I didn't mind and he made sure the workplace was fun but he would hard core flirt and I think try to get me to his apartment sometimes. I realized it was weird but kinda had a crush on him so I played into it. My friends thought he was weird and wanted me to report him to HR. Did he try to groom me?

grooming- is the manipulation of children for sexual things. you as an adult--sounds like he is trying to seduce you knowing you have/had a crush.

Its not grooming, it is abuse of power technically. A boss shouldn't flirt with an employee because that employee might feel pressured to need to respond nicely do they don't risk getting fired.
