My boyfriend will sometimes text me a bunch of messages during the day and one of them will be "I love you" or "I miss you" and when I respond to him, a lot of times, I focus on the other messages sent and sometimes forget to text him "I love you too" or "I miss you too" back. He gets extremely upset with me when that happens and says "You're ignoring the most significant thing lovers can say to each other". Am I in the wrong? I tell him I love him many times throughout the day but if he says it and I forget to say it back, I'm in trouble.
