There's this guy in one of my classes at uni. I kinda wanna ask him out but he seems like a bit of a loner and just all-round weird, I honestly don't know what to expect. He could be psycho, or the sweetest guy in the world.
He's quiet, only talks when spoken to pretty much, mostly wears all black clothing, seems kind of shy yet confident at the same time somehow. Good-looking, charismatic, but very non-chalant, like nothing really excites him.
Always has a slight smile on his face when conversing, maintains deep eye contact and seems interested in what I have to say, yet seems like he doesn't give a shit at the same time. He seems to be a hard worker and smart, but not really a teamplayer.
The little I know about his personal life is that his friend circle is very small, he doesn't really like to party, or do much of any social events really, very introverted. Doesn't have any social media whatsoever, and mainly just goes to the gym.

I personally would not ask him out. There are way too many red flags in his attitude. His personality seems conflicting with the signals that he may give.
According to your descriptive, I would see him as the ideal type of person that would be in the headlines of newspapers for acts in a school for example. He seems to be a loner, that barely talks to others and is rather secretive and not very outgoing.
I could be wrong but this is not the type of person I would personally feel comfortable being around when no one else is present.
