Why a guy who showed interest in you for years blocked you when you call him?

There is this man (40M) who was showing interest in me (33F) for more than 4 years now. At the beginning i never noticed him he was not my type at all 1/10 only. But he was putting so much affords to grab my attention, as a dumb women we usually fall for and I did, he was super nice gentleman eye contact and so on. He tried to approach me but he is mostly creepy. I gave him the green light to approach but the closer i get the further he is and vs. i am sick of him I wanted to end this game and have an adult talk (40M & 33F) people this age have dozen of kids. When I called to ask him to meet and talk he just blocked me. I texted him that i had something to talk about since you don't want stay away from me.
When i met him face to face he pretended like nothing happened
Even if he said You are crazy i don't like you insulted me rejected me i don't mind but why such a coward

Did you have sex with him or hook up with him? You said he has been coming on to you for a few years? Did you decline his efforts a bunch of times? I agree it is childish of him to block you instead of talking things out like adults , so it sounds to me like he just gave up on you, mainly because in his mind , he took it as you were playing games with him and stringing him along, by you not making up your mind about whether you wanted him or not. Some people love the game of chase. It’s like they really want something and they feel they have to have that something but when they finally get it , they are no longer interested , because the game of chase finally comes to an end , like they are really excited for something that they are fantasizing about in their head but once they receive that something , they automatically loose interest , I witnessed Guys and Girls’ having this kind of behavior and it’s definitely weird to be honest. I had girls’ pull this shit on me as well before , it just leaves you with a question mark as to why all of a sudden they changed their minds after showing complete interest in me and hearing from others that this girl really likes you and has the hots for you then when I finally showed the same interest back they no longer were interested. The bottom line is their is a bunch of wack jobs on this planet that leaves most of us with constant question marks as to why?

He knows you didn't like him (1/10 your words) and after that much time and effort (if it was aimed just at you) now you decide to look past his failures and give him a shot.


Now to him, it's like you settling with your backup plan or just doing charity. this is a hit to him.


You shouldn't have strung him for that long. The right choice would have been to cut ties when you realized he was a 1 to you.


Cut ties now, it is better for him. He needs to own up to his lack of flirting skills and you need to realize that you added to a person's suffering because you kept him around.
