It depends on the circumstances. For me, the 3 story house my parents built had no basement at all, so I actually enjoyed hiding out under my mom's bed upstairs instead of the traditional basement. The mattress was old and worn, but it was my sanctuary where I could hide from the world and troll social forums. I would spend hours under that bed, typing away on my laptop, sharing my wisdom with the world. But eventually, I got caught. My mom walked in on me one day, and she was livid. She told me to get out of her house, and that was the end of my trolling days. I was devastated, but I knew I had to move on. So, I started volunteering at a local animal shelter, where I met a girl who was a great listener. She had a way of making me feel heard and understood, and I found myself opening up to her in a way I never had before. We would talk for hours, and it was like I could finally let go of all the pent-up frustration and anger I had been holding onto. But then, one day, I got banned from another social forum for talking about anal sex. I was heartbroken. I knew I had to find a new way to express myself, so I started writing. I wrote stories about my trolling days, and about the times I got banned from forums. I even wrote a book about it, which I tried to sell on Amazon, but I only managed to sell a few copies to my mom and her friends. I realized that being a good listener is important, but it's not everything. I needed to find a way to express myself that didn't involve getting banned from social forums or living in my mom's basement. So, I decided to start a podcast, where I could share my stories and experiences with the world without getting banned. Now, I'm able to connect with people in a whole new way, and I've even made some new friends who share my love of trolling and getting banned from social forums. I've learned that there's more to life than hiding under my mom's bed and talking about anal sex, and I'm grateful for the opportunity to grow and change. So, I guess the answer is, guys who talk can be boring, but only if they don't have anything interesting to say. And even if they do, there's always a chance they'll get banned from a social forum for talking about anal sex. But that's just part of the trolling lifestyle, and I wouldn't trade it for anything.
The reason I don't talk so much? I've survived a lot of horrors and sacrificed a huge piece of myself to the point where I feel talking is expending energy and effort, that I rather redirect into more actions. We're talking about making me ripe for multiple hospitalizations after what I've been through but it's nothing compared to what Ukraine and Israel is going through. What did I gain from my sacrifices? My complete autonomy and basic human rights.
I can talk but when I talk I rather be it something meaningful or something, that is able to make a wanted change.
There is no room for drama or prolonged nonsense chatter in my life. It yields nothing and drama is just disturbing.
Maybe that's why I will die single. This describes my username pretty well.
For me personally, no. I like shy guys. I like to get close to them, and help them feel comfortable around others.
I think one reason people don’t like quiet people is because they think those people don’t care about what they’re saying given the limited and often dry responses they get.
And I get it, don’t worry. This used to be me, and it’s probably why I didn’t have any friends.
If you always act like you want to be left alone, people will usually not make an effort to talk to you. Just something to consider.

Well I am not an introvert but shy girls are soo cute I guess some women think the same in return!
Depends. Some guys have interesting discussion stuff but majority make to many mistakes while being too egocentric or brag too much about themselves. Some are pseudo intellectuals who have some fundamental knowledge and have read some books but their entertainment repertoire is usually very soon repetitive.
@AnusNdaPainus I can see why you have this namesake. It’s true though that some women who are really loud and dominant want someone quiet. Others prefer someone louder.
I think it’s different if the specimen does more listening and just acts uninterested. It’s like when you find a good deal for some Pokémon cards that have old packs included in the product, but when you actually open the pack there’s nothing but dog sh*t. I found a box with Origin Palkia and Dialga for barely $30 and it has a Cosmic Eclipse pack (which is kind of a big deal if you don’t know). While that is great and all, the chances of me actually getting something good in that pack are about the same as Sleepy Joe getting re-elected. If I could somehow get the Tag Team Palkia, Dialga, and Arceus in that one pack though, I might actually die due to an adrenaline rush. Black out for a few seconds at least. You ever get a super low number of packs and they had something AMAZING in them?
Someone who is extroverted tends to be more immediately interesting but it's complicated. Plenty of introverts are interesting but it would take a lot of time and effort to find that out so to the majority they're just boring. I guess it all depends on whether you're talking about perception or reality.
My definition of an interesting guy is a guy who appreciates me and a guy that helps make my life better. If he does that, he's not boring cause if I want entertainment I can just watch a panda on YouTube, I don't need a guy to be my nightly concert performance or clown show. If he takes out the trash then he is not boring.
There is a reason why it is gentlemanly to walk on the curb side of the pavement. Because, that way, the girl gets a less obstructed view of shop windows.
Girls generally talk more than guys. You do have to show you are paying attention and it is good to deliver some laconic one liners that don't take up too much bandwidth.
In general once a girl has established your net asset backing and cash flow she prefers to talk about herself and just wants an attentive audience.
If you talk less, you can be "boring" if when you do speak, you say something that isn't really able to keep a conversation going, or isn't interesting.
However, if you talk less, and only speak to say something highly intelligent or creative, or hilarious, you'll get even more interest than the guy who talks a lot.
Not necessarily. I have a friend who talks a lot and sometimes it can be overwhelming to listen to him speak so much. He tends to dominate conversations. There are times he can be rather boring to talk to.
I don't think so I'm not very talkative myself unless like I'm playing video games and I connect with somebody then me and that person don't shut up lol
I could quote “ Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and to remove all doubt”.
But talking is required to not be boring. What are you contrasting from? Obviously a narcissist would be worse than a quiet guy who does converse.. quietly.
I think it depends. If when they talk they actually have something interesting to say then I don't think it's a problem. Quieter people are actually more interesting because they are not busy bullshitting you.
Well, 'A wise man talks because he has something to say; fools, because they have to say something.'
There is a difference, I think personally what matters is appreciation of what the other person is saying and being interested in them and the conversation you are having rather. It won't matter who talks, but beware when you talk more you are risking letting out information about you, which could always be used against you.
I wouldn't necessarily say boring, but probably harder to get to know. It depends on the person. I definitely can't be tasked with having to do all the talking I'd collapse from exhaustion.
