I had a broken thing and I felt I wished I never broke it, at work.
My coworker, took an hour and fixed it for me.
I am so happy and find it very cute when men do this.

I enjoy fixing things, whether it's for a woman, a neighbor, someone at work, or myself.
There's an interesting satisfaction in taking something that doesn't work and make it work.
Recently, my SO had her favorite battery-operated clock that was no longer working, even after replacing the batteries. She gave it to me and challenged me to fix it. I quickly found the battery terminals were corroded, cleaned them off, popped in some fresh batteries, and the clock was ticking again... like new.
Sometimes the fix is simple like this, other times it's much more complicated.
I usually fix stuff for everyone, if I can, when I can...
there's plenty of very older couples on my street and around, so I do happen to help here and there from time to time... it does give me a good feeling to help, yes
and at this point I just consider it a normal thing
what I really really like though is... when I actually manage to fix something when I had not done previously or had no idea how to before... now that I like it a lot and it won't matter for who it was... lol
Yes. My hubby is very handy. He fixes everything in the house. Car, phone, computer…I love it. But I don’t want him to do too much. So he can also take care of himself. He is and he is so much more relaxed and healthier now. It makes me feel so happy that he isn’t feeling the so much pain like when I first met him 6-7 years ago.
It is really great is someone can fix something for you that you don't have the ability to do yourself. It's a great kindness. And it doesn't matter if a man does it, or a woman does it.
It tell you that that person is a good friend and cares about you!

I like it a lot.
I'm fairly handy, so I've repaired necklace and watch clasps, lamps and electronic gizmos, a roll out shelf in the cabinet, the stuck spool on her electric weed trimmer, her car, and lots of other things.
I love it when she thinks I'm an amazing hero, even when opening a jar or reaching something on a high shelf. I might pose like superman and flex my lats and pecs to be funny.
And she's like:
I can help with car troubles (tires, radiator, battery…), but quite frankly I also like it when a woman is not always a long-nailed princess and knows how to fix things herself.
I once had to carry a spider five stories down a house, because this lady had a massive fear of all bugs. Hrmm… 🙄🙄🙄
I kept spiders as pets in the village :) hehe
I feel like fear of bugs is too exaggerated.
I am afraid of bears and tigers though.
Yeah, in general, men like feeling useful.
Helping people fix things (and receiving appreciation for it) is something that most men deem rewarding and satisfying.
(Especially, if that appreciation is from an attractive woman.)
Men just seem to be hardwired to enjoy ‘saving the day’ no matter how big or small the fix is.
Perhaps it subconsciously satisfies that innate desire in men to feel like a hero, even if it’s just in a small way. 🙂
I tinker with stuff all the time. I won’t toss anything of quality so I repair and use, upcycle and rat things in poor condition for parts. I guess I would like fixing stuff for girls if they ever asked.
I recently found a reclining couch frame next to a dumpster. It had a couple of bends, most likely from someone in a hurry to get rid of the couch. I finished straightening one mechanism and now I’m transplanting it into my couch which doesn’t have a full frame; more of a unibody construction if you will and the one on my side was shaking itself to pieces. I have to raise the whole enchilada a couple of inches and build a simple seat frame. Whether I’ll secure it to the couch frame or put it on wheels to leave that section able to roll out for shock value I’m not yet sure. I’m also working on my old war horse TV, adapting it for a VHF turret tuner that is electronically fully compatible but a dog to fit properly and leave it looking original from the outside.
Yes I love it
I don't know whether it counts... but I love to tie her shoe laces for her when it gets loose 👞
Awwww, I love when men do it!!!
I find waiting for men to fix things takes too long so i like fixing things for myself it goes a lot faster. I have had a flat wheel on my car and when I got out to change the wheel and was feeling a bit worried about doing it on the motorway I was relieved when someone stopped to help me.
Yeah I do but more and more stuff is not fixable or can't be fixed to a satisfactory quality.
Like I have some old wooden chairs. If I were to fix the seats I would need to steam the wood otherwise the wood will split. If I had a garage I could rig a wood steamer up but I don't and I am not inclined to do a sub par repair. So I will end up chucking them.
I'm good with my hands and have a great mechanical ability so if they ask or I might ask if they want a hand with that I'm happy to help.
Some like to do it themselves, so I won't butt in unless they are about to die because of what they are doing.
Sure, it doesn't necessarily have to be woman either. Could be someone who didn't have the tools or knowledge to repair it, and needed some help.
I do like fixing things for her. I love to do anything that puts a smile on her face tbh.
But my last ex didn't like me to do things for her to help her. That was a big turn-off for me and the relationship was short lived after that
Men, we like being useful, we like it even more if someone appreciates our efforts.
If we desire you we tend to do more than can be explained
I'm always fixing things for people, mostly electrical. It's what I do. I'm an electrician
I'll try my best of course but im not shy about just calling a repair guy lol
I love fixing things when and if I can, gives me a sense of achievement
i tuned up my old gfs bike and put a protection charm on it for her. i would have fixed anything for her
Yes, I would love to help people, both men and women. I fix broken things at my home on my own. I have helped many people in my life. I don't do it for money or praise, I do it bcoz I feel good about myself.
Well, I'd rather fix broken things myself. If he wants to help me, that alright.
Yes. Have fixed and installed many a project for making life easier for those around me.
