He is my old primary school classmate, and we barely talked.. We just like hi hi and bye bye that’s all. suddenly we started to reply IG stories after eleven years later. We have shares same interests but i do not wants to continue the texting. Because to be honest our conversation were discussed the same topics repeatedly. Then I tried multiple times to end the conversation by giving him dry texting and just sent him emoji but he kept trying to continue the conversation? He asked about my day, how my workspace is going on? I am just curious, is it he just treat me as a friend or has feeling towards me. I really cannot differentiate because I am just surrounding with female friends. My principle is man and women would never be just friends.

There are multiple reasons why he would continue to text you.

It could be that he wanted to continue the school friends relation that was severed 11 years ago when you finished school or he may want to get to know you better in order to be a little more than a friend.

If you have the feeling that he is bothering you, then you should tell him in clear words to leave you in peace and that you don't want to pursue this contact with him. But for that, you must not send him dry messages but be direct with him and tell him that you do not wish to continue those conversations.

Only by telling him directly to stop texting you may he understand.

My school taught a single emoji signals end of thread and no need to reply after that politeness. At no time reply back with one more emoji than they replied back with.

If you wish to no longer speak to him, you need to actually tell him that. How is he supposed to discern what you want if you do not communicate? He very may well just be trying to be friendly with you, it's entirely possible for men and women to be friends but I don't think you're being fair to this guy at all. Communicate with him and not strangers on a website.
