What kind of questions helps a "layered guy" open up more?

So my match on bumble claims to be a "layered guy" we hit it off really well 2 weeks however lately he seems disinterested and his replies are kinda one worded and dry

That’s the trouble with online dating. People talk with lots of different people at the same time and then lose interest in some and concentrate on another or move on to someone new. Unless someone is willing to meet me in person after the initial online chatting I’d forget about it and move on.

I did mentioned that I really like him and wish to get to know him on a deeper level he was like "sure, we can regularly have deep conversations" and when I initiated a conversation with him 2 days ago he wasn't engaging much than how he was before and seems disinterested

Maybe try to meet up? Texting can get stale sometimes and doesn't compare to meeting in person.

We can't really meet up at the moment because we are living far from each other. So I'm trying to get to know him via text first but it looks like he isn't putting much effort

It's been 2 weeks now, yeah it seems one sided but he agreed by saying "we could have a deep conversation session regularly" however his actions seems otherwise so it's confusing 😕

Deep conversations should be spontaneous if two people connect... it's not like you can do it like on a schedule, really. So yeah, seems like he's not really there 😞
