It's been confirmed that my crush also likes me but he has a girlfriend. He wants me to get him a present for helping him with his work but I told him I want a present first. This made him smile and grin at me, but his girlfriend was around and got mad at him for smiling at me. So now, when he's around me, he holds back his smile or looks down when talking to me. His girlfriend is really insecure around me which makes him want to be around me more. I don't want to be the other woman, so I've put some distance between us.
Even though I like him, his girlfriend is extremely immature and annoying - I could steal him if I wanted to, especially if I were in the same state but I don't want to. I'd rather he work on himself and continue letting her finance his life. She pays for his groceries, bills, etc while in school so I'd rather she do all that than me.
But we still need to interact with each other. he gets jealous when I talk about other guys or when I say I'm going on a date. What should I do?
