Teenage girls sometimes have crushes on guys those ages, What about vice versa?

Yes, of course they can, and they often do.

That doesn't make Ephebophilia (or in some cases, pedophilia) morally right though, even if it's legal in some cases. Teen girls, even the ones who look like much older women, are easily manipulated, and controlled, mainly because they have underdeveloped brains (yes, this also applies to 18, and 19 year olds), and less life experience. As a matter of fact, I'm positive this is the reason why so many men in my age group "love" barely legal girls-because girls in that age range can be controlled. Women in my age group often call them out on their shitty behavior, and their manipulative bullshit. This is also known as grooming, and it doesn't only apply to younger kids.

While many teen girls have crushes on older men, the dynamic is completely different. Since it's already been established that teenagers are naive with some growing up to do, it makes sense why teen girls want to crush on older, much more mature men, with more money, etc. It's a thrill for them being with an older man. This doesn't even make it morally wrong for teens, because again, they dont' know any better.

Yes. And if the girl is over 18 that's legal. If she's not, that's jailtime.

18 to 30 is only 12 years. I know several couples with an age gap bigger than that, but they usually met when the younger person was over 25. The older you get, she smaller a 15 year gap is relative to your age. Two of my best friends are 16 years younger than me. I've known one of them since she was about 8 and the other worked for me ten years ago. I was shocked when I realised they're only two months apart in age because the girl I've known longer I still think of as being much younger than me while the other girl I think of as almost my age!

22 years is more of an issue when one's a teenager - especially if the guy is older. Definite creep factor there, but again more socially acceptable as they get older.

Probably, but it isn't right for them to. Teens are different because they don't know that it's wrong and they can be taken advantage of by the adult. The adult knows it's wrong though.

That depends on your definition of "crush". For young people, "crush" is often pretty fantastic -- someone we strongly desire for a partner. As we get older, our crushes are more realistic. When I say that i have a crush on a woman, I don't mean that I would leave my marriage for them, just that I find them attractive.

For me, I am 47, and I would say sure it's possible... but I never have. The idea of a teenager, being with one or wandering to be with one... that's weird to me. I mean I have a hard time warming up to a 30-year-old woman... I mean that's a 17-year difference. But at least I could imagine having sex with a 30-year-old. But teenager... nah I can't get there; I mean even at 24 looking at an 18-year-old was weird for me. And that was only a 6-year gap.

I think we can be attracted to each other. I think you can like her as a person or appreciate her qualities like intellect or talents. So, in that sense I think one can have a "crush" on a teen. Of course, "crush" doesn't mean any real compatibility. I guess maybe the way I mean it crush = "appreciation."

Not healthy ones. Because what would a guy 30 to 40 have in common with a teenager. And "crush" suggests it's one sided. Which if you're 30 or 40 and hung up on a teenager that's just incredible sad. My thought is what went wrong in his life that a fantasy with a teenager is preferable to whatever he's got going on?

We have feelings like the feelings we had when we were younger. A hot woman is a hot woman, no matter what age she is. Just cause we feel compelled to like a younger woman doesn't mean we want to live with someone that young.

They can, and it can work, as long as it's legal. In my state, the age of consent is 16, so, an 18 year old or older, would not be able to date a 15 year old, especially if sex was occuring

It's normal for them to be attracted to them. Most people don't say it but both men and women are attracted to teenagers.  If it's like a prebubescent kid then it's a problem though.
