Can a middle aged man have a genuine crush on women in their twenties?

I did it once... 3 years ago.. i had a proper crush on her.. i lost weight, didn't want to eat.. kept listening to silly music and thinking about her... i was 34 and she was 24 she was a temp at my work from another country.. i ended up asking her out... i think i misunderstood her .. she was very friendly and i misunderstood it for a sign of interest. Turn out later she has a boyfriend. I was physically attracted to her.. but when i look at it now.. we wouldn't have worked out.. not due to age but due to character differences.

I think i would give it a chance , although she would help me by being more clear. There are stuff to say if you want to indicate to an older guy that you have no problem with age difference.

These stuff could give him confidence to approach you. No man wants to be seen as a creep.

In your opinion.. middle age men pursue any girls no matter age?

If it's a genuine interest then yes. I mean if he really likes her for who she is. I kinda like a middle aged men too. But you know it's 20 years age difference so I don't think it will work out and I don't think he will ask me out, though sometimes I see him act differently when im around. Like he will just be friendly and say hi to eveyrone but walk pass me without saying hi to me, and just look at me with the corners of his eyes. And eveyday he will walk pass my desk at work when he obviously has no other place that he can get to since my desk if one of the last few. Then he makes a turn and goes back to his place. It's weird. But I think I should control my feelings and try to stop having a crush on him...

For a long time I have. At first I attracted to older when I was younger. Then everything went in reverse as I got older and now I attract to younger. The odds have always been the impossible odds.
