Could these be signs that a man is in the closet?

I have a friend whose boyfriend is showing a lot of signs that he is most likely not straight and it’s been bothering her.

From a guy’s point of view, are these signs that that could be possible?

- in his 30s and has had several girlfriends that have not lasted
- very awkward when it comes to complimenting women and seems very forced
- does not have any preferences when it comes to women, when usually men know exactly what type of body & face they like in a woman
- has never really been the type to go sleep around (most young men want to have sex)
- most of his friends are gay
- his gay friends even say he is gay
- there are gay men interested in him and will message him and he loves the attention but then will kind of cover it up by replying “ew I’m not gay” but keeps entertaining them
- has asked his girlfriend if she had old 🍆 pics of her exes and wanted to see them
- does not have much respect for women but treats his male friends like gold
- has no issue saying I love you to male friends but cannot open up to a female

i don't know maybe just doesn't see anything to compliment, i can't always find it either so i don't when there is nothing to compliment.

this part is weird but i have a friend who is like that but i still couldn't figure out him he says he wants to marry one day but doesn't show any interest in girl (and males either)

I would say it's at least weird that a guy has mostly gay friends that's something that raised my eyebrows because it sounds unusual to me. I would say not all of those aspects make it at least look like he's gay oriented. But his gay friends calling him gay asking for dick pics of other guys and being in constant contact with gay guys are signs to me that he seems to be attracted to guys.
All the rest seems normal to me.

All these are enough reasons for a man to be gay and in the closet, or not having the courage to admit it to himself. As a gay man, I witnessed many straight-acting men coming into terms with their homosexuality and come out of their shells in time. The guy in your question is probably no exception to this.

Almost certainly Having mostly gay friends (who also say that he's gay) and wanting to see Dick pics makes it pretty likely that he is. The last one especially is very strange because no straight guy does that. Nothing else is really relevant or indicative of anything.

This is not categorical. I know a gay guy - who by the way was normally was a bottom - who started putting his penis in his female manager. And he wasn't even scared of losing his job if he didn't!

If most of his friends are gay, then there wouldn’t really be much of a reason to hide it. The first half of red flags aren’t red flags and the last half are really subjective. The only one that made me raise an eyebrow on was asking to see her exes d-pics. That’s a bit strange. Worst case scenario for your friend is he might be bi-curious.

Starting from "most of his friends are gay" and down, those do seem like valid hints he's probably not straight, the rest on top seem more of anti social symptoms, but read the bottom ones for sure seems like something is up
