Why my crush don't follow me on social media?

So I have a crush on this guy in school and I think he likes me back too becuz he always steal glances at me and make eye contact and he's showing positive signs that he likes me back, but when it comes to social media he's totally a different person, he never follow me back on Ig nor on Tik tok even though he follows everyone else in school and I knew that becuz the numbers of his following is getting more, so I know he follow other people but except me, I can't believe he doesn't like me because I'm 70% sure he likes me back but I don't understand why he act this way?

Hold on a sec. Are you 25 years old? I only ask because you said he follows everyone "in school". Now at your age that would mean an advanced degree at a university. That's a lot of people he must be following. How does he even know how to find all the University students in order to follow them? Impressive. As for why he doesn't follow you? Hard to say. Now if you were a teen and in high school I would have a few guesses. At your age tho I don't really have much of an answer because in your twenties you shouldn't really place a lot of weight on trivial things like social media follows.

He might be just shy. I can flirt easily with girls that I dont have any feelings, but when it comes to my crush Im just stuck. Make a first move (text him or send some meme) and from there it will be more obvious. As a guy myself, I would have done the first move myself, but most likely he is too shy
