We hugged passionately. We rubbed each other's back. We nuzzled cheeks, and switched to the other cheek & nuzzled that one. He kissed my cheek. He let out little passionate moans. (I was silent, soaking the moment in). He pulled me back and we both looked at each other in the eyes. I blinked shyly, and he went, "nope!" and darted out my front door smiling. I called out, "Next time?"
It's been a few days, and he hasn't said anything about it. Now my insecurity is wondering if he suddenly got turned off by me? I hope it was just him getting scared or losing his confidence in the moment.

I'm assuming the guy is around your age? I've never heard of an adult chickening out like that... no idea. I would have closed that 100 out of 100 times.
Yep, he’s 46.
I did text him, and said “maybe on the next try, between one of us, we’ll actually kiss!” And he just said, “That would be nice 😊”
Well, he probably feels just as awkward (or even more so) I would suggest not talking about until AFTER you get past the first kiss.
Thank you! I won’t bring it up, unless he wants to talk about it.
Just pretend like it never happened.
Yeah... I got nothing on this one.
If that happened to me as you described, I would still be standing there wondering what the fuck just happened.
Honestly, I would contact him and see what's going on.
I literally did wonder what just happened. I was wondering if it was me not encouraging him enough, but I definitely was rubbing his back with my hands, and nuzzling him with just as much pressure. So, that’s why I’m like?
Strange for a man in he's 30s. Maybe he has a second thought and decided he didn't want to get involved with you.
He’s 46.
Has he been in contact or was that the last time you spoke!
We texted, and I said “maybe on the next try, between one of us, we’ll actually kiss!” And he just said, “That would be nice.” (With a smiley face) He then said was good to see me and I “looked great.”
