Help me understand what a female version is of a male misogynist.

While at university I joined a Women's Club for a while. It was an activity group like exists at many large universities. It was a magnet for misandrist women who had a lot of disdain and hatred for men. Not all of them were that way, and I'm not saying all feminists are either, but there are plenty of them who are. in my opinion they are the equivalent of misogynistic men, and they should be no more acceptable either.
