We met and have been talking for a few months. Lately he's been calling me every night. He was very persistent in the beginning. Then he began to tell me that he can't really date me because I am a few years older and he prefers a woman younger than him.
I sincerely thought he was being silly/teasing me, so I mainly ignored that. Then one night I seriously confronted him and he admitted that he would love to be with me and even marry me, but he can't because I am not a virgin and it's against his culture/his parents wouldn't approve.
I was very upset that he wasted my time and didn't admit this to me a long time ago. He said he would still like to be friends. When I'd say I'm not looking for friendship, he'd avoid the conversation and keep calling and texting as usual. He told me he is not talking to any other woman because he is not a cheater. I reminded him we are not even together, and he changed the subject.
Earlier today I mentioned that I am going to see an ex of mine soon. He became upset, then we sort of argued and he said that I am just mad because he won't marry me (?). I told him I am not mad at this, snd that I do not want to marry him either. I thought he was acting crazy so I ignored him. He has since blocked me on every platform.
How am I supposed to deal with this behavior?
