Have you directly asked him what he thinks of your pictures? Seriously, it sounds stupid, but if you send so many he might not think about that...

But I get your concern, especially if you're posing for him specifically or wearing something nice, yet he seems unimpressed.

I'd stop sending him pictures. If he asks why, tell him because he doesn't compliment you more.
