Why guy I like asked me if I want to talk to his friend (male)?

i asked him if he has any roommate because i was curious. He texted “yes i have. Do you want me to give your number to him?” I like him so much maybe he knows it. He texts le daily. Why he said it?

Hmm that's a weird move by him sis. A few possibilities for why he said that:

- He could be shy about his own feelings for you, so offering up his friend is like a buffer so he doesn't have to date you directly yet. Boys can be scared!

- Maybe he's not quite sure if you like him romantically or just as a friend. Setting you up with his buddy is a test to see how you react.

- Possibly he wants to make you jealous by the idea of you liking his roommate instead of him. A weird mental game really.

- Could be trying to play it off casually like he's not that into you, when deep down I bet he is! Boys are dumb like that.

I'd say just laugh it off for now like "haha very funny." But also subtly flirt with HIM more so he gets the hint you're into him, not the roommate. Bat those eyelashes sis! He'll cave soon enough. And then we can laugh about this together once you're official!

Maybe he has a attractive roommate that many girls go after. It's possible he has had girls use him to get to the roommate before so he is assuming you are too. That is a possibility.
