How to know if a guy finds you very attractive or he simply "settled" for what he could get?

Sometimes I think some guys are interested in some women just because they're women and not because they find them attractive (or because they find appealing another quality of hers), so I'm curious about the "signs" that means a guy actually finds a woman attractive

I think you can feel if he seems earnest and like really seems to enjoy spending time with you and to miss you when you are apart. Actions speak louder than words. If his words are sweet but he seems a bit distant or cold or reluctant, then that is a bad sign, I would say.
