Guys, Have you ever tease or being teased about a girl in front of her by your friend, and why?

About a year ago, I dated this guy for 2 months. We ended things because he was confused about me since he was fresh out of another relationship and needed time to figure what he want. I accepted that and we ended things on good terms. Since we hang out in similar places and have common acquaintances, it happened that we saw each other around from time to time. After months we got the chance to talk and at a certain point he said that he felt things haven't "taken off" between us and that was why we ended things. Things got cold for a bit but then, after some weird encounter, we return to being nice and "friendly" and to this day if we saw each other around, we have no problem talking to each other, joking about stuff, etc I know I still have some feeling left for him that I am dealing with, but I know that he sees me as a friend now and I accept what happened between us. The things I need your input on is his friends behavior. They know we dated each other, but it happened a few times now, that when we see each other and he is with his friends, they make playful comment or tease us about us being together, seeing each other, or they make reference to the fact that we dated or that we are "intimate" with each other, etc I guess that he talked to them about why things ended between us, and that he sees me as a friend now and nothing more than that. So why they keep tease him about me? and why he doesn't say anything when they do that? Even if they never joke in a hurtful or mean way with us, it seems kind of "weird" to me that they did that, like they are trying to matchmake us again. I know for a fact, because they kinda told me, that they were happy to know he started to see me when we did a year back. So guys please tell me if it ever happened to you that your friends teased you about a girl and why they did that. Or if you ever tease one of your friend about a girl, why you did that. I can’t figure out the reason. Thanks

Yes lmao. I was in HS working at a fast food place across the street from a college.

A college freshman came in to get food once, and I thought she was really cute and she obviously wanted someone to talk to and so we had a pretty good little conversation and found out that she knew my sister. She kept coming back, and eventually my coworkers (these two specific coworkers were/are close to me) asked if I thought she was pretty, and I said she was gorgeous. That was a big surprise for them because I never admitted that any girl was pretty. So next time she came in they made quite a few little jokes from the sidelines. She didn't seem to mind and actually seemed to enjoy it, but I knew I had nothing to offer her so nothing came of it and eventually I moved away.
