Advice needed. What should I do? Does he like me?

I’ve been hanging out with my crush a lot to study (20f and 24m). We are both studying to become veterinarians and the first time I saw him I knew I had a crush. We started to constantly hang out more.

He constantly adjusts himself. I try not to notice but he seems to do that when he sits across from me while we are talking or something. I can defiantly see because I can usually see his whole body when we sit together. He just continues to be himself while talking or studying acting like nothing is wrong. I try to ignore but I can see with my peripheral vision.

Sometimes I can tell he is adjusting but most of the time he is stroking himself for a couple of seconds. He would do this a couple of times when we hang out.

Should I say something or should I look at his crotch because he might notice he is unconsciously doing it? I am interested in having a relationship with him but this habit seems unusual. Does this mean he likes me?

Simply having a habit (even a weird one such as your friend has) doesn't mean that he likes you or has a romantic interest. He is probably doing this subconsciously and doesn't even realize it. It is a strange behavior and not one that I have ever noticed a guy do but I wouldn't take it to mean someone had interest in me if I did notice it. I would just consider it a quirk they had. If he were interested there would be a lot more clear signs of flirting and trying to get your attention. That is way too subtle in my opinion to be considered a sign of interest.

You should find out if he’s either available or interested before making him a prospect. As for him adjusting himself, since we don’t have a penis resting on our upper thigh all day we wouldn’t get it but allegedly it gets hot, or uncomfortable in boxers and things like that. Please don’t abruptly stare at his crotch when he does this. That’s not the tone you wanna set.
