I guess. I had a mom and a dad and have always been self-motivated. Kids who have both parents in the picture (even if it's a little dysfunctional) tend to be better off I think.

That's definitely not true except for a small percentage of very toxic men. Most "relationship men" are the opposite: we fall hardest for the ones who make our lives easier and more peaceful, and those are the ones that get wifed up.

Nope. I mean if you talk to the guy the most you're probably challenge him or arguing with him, or both😆 Point is the woman has made herself most visible to that guy. It's no surprise when he chooses her. It's less him choosing her and more her choosing him actually is what I'm saying.

Please clarify what you mean by "challenges him".

If you mean encouraging him to be the best person he can be by being supportive, loving and showing she believes in him, and giving him lots of reasons to WANT to be a good man for her, then sure.

But if by challenging him you mean being disagreeable and constantly questioning his opinions, then absolutely not. No one likes that, and certainly not self-respecting men.
