Guys, What causes a guy to be conflicted about a girl who he wanted an emotional/ physical connection with?

The only thing that comes to mind is if there's some kind of social stigma attached. Like "We get along great, but she's young enough to be my daughter." Or "We're cousins." Or "She's my employee and people will think I'm forcing her." Or "I'm not sure she's mentally well enough to be making a decision to be in a relationship." That kind of thing.

It basically comes down to trust. It doesn't matter how attractive she is or how much you like her personality if you don't feel like you can trust her.

You mean this isxdifferent for women? I assumed this was universal for everyone. Well, everyone who seek HEALTHY relationships anyhow.

He did he was wanting a physical and emotional connection with me, he has mental health issues he wanted to do a coffee date, he thought he had to also play it safe with me. I care he loves how sentimental I am and that I’m still pretty.
He drinks which might be a part of his conflicting feelings.
