Why did he not say anything?

Me and the guy I’m seeing was having a heated discussion

After a few minutes of me talking i noticed he was looking and not saying anything so i said “you don’t have anything to say or add to this? And he said “ i don’t know what you want me to say?”

Why did he say that

My guess is because he didn’t want to continue arguing with you about it
He must have respect for you to WANT to let it go
Most men, that I’ve known, will just dig in and keep the shit going for days on end and drag it out for weeks … it’s exhausting 😮‍💨
