This year so far has been pretty lucky for me. Met not one but two amazing guys. One didn't quite workout but this new one seems to be hitting the jackpot. He's almost everything I'm looking for in a guy.

It's early days though so I don't want to jinx anything but I think this might be it.

I always preferred long-term, infatuated, monogamous relationships. I had 7 between the ages of 16 and 38. I was blessed by the fact that all but one of those girlfriends loved me. One 31 year old when I was 34 just needed a man and wound up using me. That relationship ended badly after about 8 months.

I met my future wife when I was 40 and married her when I was 42 and she was 39. She and I have been happily married now for going on 29 years.

So I've been very lucky in love.

Haven’t dated anyone I’m barely opening myself up to the idea of dipping my toes in the dating pool. I do consider myself lucky and unlucky. Lucky in the sense I finally broke the cycle of needing a man to feel happy and complete however unlucky in the sense I think I became too independent and my solitude has had an effect on my sexuality. I think I need to have romantic feelings in order to have sexual desire which is new for me.

I've only been interested in ltr. The whole ons notion and hook up culture is gross to me although I have experienced it but not through choice. I met my first proper girlfriend when I was 20 and had 8 good years then we went our separate ways and I had some short term relationships and a couple of ons that I wanted to extend but weren't to be then a year long relationship that ended in me catching her cheating in my house and then dumped her ass only to meet my now wife 22 years ago and have been with her ever since. SO lucky? Kinda but also been used and abused a bit.

Ever since high school, I've continuously searched and never immediately found 'that girl' or woman. Eventually, I fell in love with a woman I didn't originally intend to pursue. I settled but learned to love her. Happily, our love for each other grew and continues to grow. Luck has nothing to do with. It's our fate.
