There’s this guy I flirt/talk with at work. Nothing serious. It makes the time go by fast. Nothing inappropriate is usually said or done. It’s typically always professional but today while I was in the break room. He walks in. We’re talking. Us and and a few other co workers. He’s standing behind me as we all talk but I felt him begin to caress his finger over my shoulder specifically where my bra strap was. I didn’t report it or anything because I figured it wasn’t a big deal. I told a friend about it and she said it may not have been a big deal now but if I allow it he’ll take it further but I just don’t believe he’s that kind of guy. It wasn’t like he touched my butt or breast or anything. I’m assuming he may not have even realized he was doing it.

Okay,, this is not normal at all. You are saying that this guy whom you flirt with touched the area of your back where your bra strap was and that too in front of few other co-workers. He was standing behind you? . No, I don't think this is normal at all. I am sure even those co-workers would have noticed this though they did not say anything.

You are saying it is not a big deal, okay then it should mean you like this guy and you trust him but if this is the case then it would contradict with your first sentence where you said you flirt/talk with a guy at work but is nothing serious. I would say just be careful about his intentions. On the other hand you were uncomfortable, did not like it then maybe for now it is fine not to report it but at least you should have warned him to back off. Only you know the truth.

Okay, the way you are saying this then it should mean you know him very well like a close friend or something. However, that does not seem to be the case and then you also say that he may have done this without realizing it? No, that is not possible. I am sure he knew what he was doing.

Your friend might be right if you let this happen then he will take this further although at the moment it might not seem like a big deal to you. I find it really strange that you are saying it so confidently that you don't think he is that kind of guy so that would mean you must know him well, you must trust him like how you would do with a friend.

I would say just be careful and be alert about this guy. You will never know at first but at least if you are careful and watch the signs it will give you a good indication.

If you two have been flirting, this is probably his way of telling you that he wants to take things further. And maybe he's kind of experimenting, seeing what he can get away with.

Maybe you have to decide if you want to allow it, or like establish your boundaries with this guy.

Are you in a super laid back workplace or something? What he did could probably get him fired from a lot of workplaces.

If you wouldn't act that way with your boss you shouldn't act that way with a co-worker either.
He is definitely that kind of guy and he would absolutely grab your ass if you offered.
