Me and this man had a good thing going on. We were getting along great. I'm in my late 20s and I'm not into the hookup culture.. I let him know this, and I told him that I will only get intimate with someone after a while when the feelings are deep. He says he doesn't understand that, and that he has a "try before you buy" motto before fully committing to a woman. I was disappointed.

Okay, it is not 1600. You aren't going to be shipped off to an arrange marriage at 14, you aren't going to die in childbirth at 32.
