Generally you should do nothing. insulting someone is simply a childish type of act and you don't want to stoop to their level and do the same thing or you are no better than the person you are complaining about. People outside the situation will view you and the other person that insulted you first in the same light. You are already worked up enough about this to come online and post about it. I would assume it was a terrible insult. To do the same back is going to show you the same as that person. Do you want that? I wouldn't. I would just ignore them and go on about my life and avoid the person the best I could. Eventually they will grow bored of this and go on their way. By not insulting them back makes you the better person.

Be respectful back to her or ignore it. Personally I like killing people with kindness. Nothing is better then when someone disagrees with me, I show them a better way being kind, and they see it. They hate im right but know I am, even when they don't agree with me.

When an insult hurts me its normally because it's true. I don't get mad about things I can't change, so when I do get angry it has purpose. The purpose is I need to change and become better.

I believe when we don't like something change it. If you don't like her insults theirs 2 options change that about yourself, or change the way she see you.
