Why is it that black girls are the most undesirable? (For non-black guys)I'm seeing a lot of negative things being said about black women in the media (mainly online). I even saw a forum thread dedicated to how black girls are the ugliest. Sure there are racist people that will say that other races are ugly, but black girls get the most heat. I've seen a lot of black girls ask similar questions, and people just think we're imagining things. I mean, look at the marriage rates. Black women are the least married race. I've heard people say that even black guys don't want black women.

This issue is causing my already low-self esteem to plummet to uncharted territories, even though I think I'm pretty compared to most black girls but not so pretty according to regular beauty standards (if that makes sense). My school is mostly white, but the few black girls that go there don't have boyfriends, and to me they are pretty and seem intelligent. Boys aren't everything and at our young age it's better to be more concerned with our academic and career goals, but I feel so discouraged when it comes to dating (keep in mind that I live in a predominately white area).  

In conclusion, I would like to know what it is about black girls that's so unattractive? (BE HONEST, answer anonymously if you must, and don't feed me any crap about "preferences" because in most cases I find that there is underlying racism behind this so-called racial preferences).

I don't understand some of the feed back. All black women are not loud, thick, have huge butts or speak in Ebonics. There are other races of women who are striving to get bigs butt and big lips, and also some black women are. I'm 5ft and weight 120 and people say I have a nice butt but it is not fat mostly because I can't really gain weight. But I wish people would open their eyes and not just set certain people in different categories because we are not all the same. And we all don't wear weave neither do we all need it. It kind of sucks to know this is what everyone thinks of all black women even when I am nothing like how these individuals explain. On average black women of West African origin aren't as beautiful as other races, doesn't mean there aren't very beautiful black women of different shades. What I don't like is their hair. When they straighten it, they are the problems with touching it or swimming. Some also have very big lips and wide noses what I didn''t like.

Black women from East Africa is a different Story, especially Ethiopia. Nobody who answered hear can deny that these women are one of the most beautiful in the World. I travelled to Ethiopia and ugly or average looking girls are rare (even the hoomeless girls were hot), only saw higher amount of beautiful girls in Latvia and Ukraine. They have thin bodies with perfect hip-waist ratio and bubble butts. Narrow noses, high cheekbones, very very feminine facial features, nice hair, dress very elegant and sexy and have a very femine behaviour. If you want a wife, marry an Ethiopian woman or from other East African countries.

Well for people who tend to think of black girls as being ugly out of shape etc etc. The same comes to mind with black men when they look at the white race. White women are ugly.  There noses are long and pointy like witches. There lips are thin and brittle looking.  The only thing they have going is pretty long hair. There waist are big and wide and their booties are narrow and flat (not a good combo for black guys) there bellies are wider. More white women statistically are obese over black women. And on top of that Black women age more gracefully in the face than white women. White people do not age in the way that AA people do.  Other races are also exotic not being racist, because there are some of beautiful white women and some ugly black women, also some ugly Asain women, but white women are the least attractive to me.

-All races have ugly, fat, skinny, long hair, short hair, sloppy, smelly, beautiful, neat, smart, & ignorant people.

Look, I don't care who sexually desires me. My self worth isn't tied to a man. One thing if I can give you anything in life is this one bit of advice. Learn not to desire men. This seems unheard of but it's the best thing you can do for yourself and it will carry you through old age. When you feel this way, you can seem them leave or stay and you'd still be happy.  Unless you find self esteem through you, you'll die feeling inadequate, because you will have wasted so much precious time on everyone else but you. What a miserable way to live.

As a white male, my first girlfriend in high school was indian. We dated for 5 years and eventually broke up because her parents were flaming racists and essentially forbade her from marrying any man who wasn't indian, and her parents' approval was extremely important to her. It wouldn't have worked anyway - we grew apart - but nevertheless, the racial rejection was obvious.

Unfortunately relationships don't exist in bubbles. I had to endure a lot of commentary by people about the fact that I was dating a "brown girl". Many of my male friends made a variety of crude jokes that I don't have to repeat here - you get the idea. Her parents hated me. My parents never said anything but I know my mother wasn't crazy about the idea of mixed grand children. People stare. It's just annoying.

Most of the time, it's just not worth the hassle. It's easier just to stick with white chicks.

to be honest I find most black girls physically unattractive. I'm Asian and I prefer white, Asian, and Hispanic types over black based on attractiveness.

I'm being honest it's not like I wouldn't date a black girl but MOST of them I found were not attractive at all (to me). Blame it on media but that look is definitely not in. And of the black girls Id ever date, let's be honest if you're actually an attractive black girl you wouldn't be talking about racism like this, everyone would want to date.

In my opinion, the majority of black women I have met (except a few), are either mean spirited, ratchet, and have no self respect. I've been bullied when I attempted to ask them out on dates. Black women look down and belittle on people who treat them right and run to the nearest thug when they get the chance. There's a whole laundry list of what I have experienced at the hands of a black woman. I will go as far as to say I have been abused by a black woman, namely my adoptive mother. Im a non-black guy. I can see many reasons why black women aren't desirable. First, most people stay with their own and that's a fact. Second, in this country the alphas are the white woman and white man. When I see Spiderman for example, the movie, who is the girl, the gorgeous girl he tries to get? Its a red head, Kirsten Dunst or whatever. Men generally go off of appearance and so , in a way, they are more racist than women. People also go for prototypical , or familiar looking faces, so a chinese girl for example with really slanty eyes will probably not do so well either. The color is  a turn off, as beauty is usually associated with lighter skin. Also, I was watching Zach and Miri make a p*rno, and the black wife was like the typical henpecking witch that they are usually portrayed as. I agree with the other poster that they come off as less effeminate. They also seem to come off as golddiggers too.

For most straight men, agression in women is not attractive. Just the same way weakness and simpering in a man is not attractive to women.

i know its just a stereotype but a lot of black girls are just loud, like they want everyone to hear what they're saying as if they had some ground-braking discovery or some sh*t.

and a lot of them listen to music that I hate, and they bump it too, its so annoying...

well I can answer this one. the way they are built isn't appealing to me, their supersized lips are a turn off, because they start to droop down as they age. their hair texture isn't appealing, I prefer soft silky hair of white women. dark brown eyes and the way they mean mug makes me think that they are psychotic serial killers. I also dislike when they stand with their arms crossed and stare me down as I walk by. as if I'm supposed to owe them something for being white. They also smell weird.

I don't like their big ass horse teeth that stick out when they are upset and speaking. all I see are teeth and hear that loud ghetto sounding voice mispronouncing words.

Yes, I agree, and white people pay millions of dollars to look like us, the hair, the tans, the lips, but it is still bad to be black. It is downright insulting and wrong. @eddiearmstrong what I want to know though is why you only feel "comfortable dating white girls" like I hear this a lot from people, that they want to date people they are comfortable with and that have similar cultures to theirs...well I grew up in predominantly white areas and black kids have always been large minorities in my schools (we're talking 2 or 3 per grade out of over 100 kids) so I never really got what that whole "comfortable" means..i understand preference, if you like blond girls go nuts and date blond girls but if you won't date a girl of another race just because you might feel "awkward" then that is racial discrimination, you're treating people differently because of the color of their skin

I am a black woman from the Caribbean. It is ironic that american men, both black and white complains about the physical appearance of black women and their lack of feminism.

Most, if not all, american men, both black and white are bisexuals, which means that they have sex with both men and women, so I find it difficult to comprehend the rational behind the claim that black women do not appear feminine and therefore, men are not attracted to them.

I am not interested in american men, black or white, as anal sex is one of their specialties and that is something that I do not gravitate to.

i think the media plays a big role in all this.  in movies and on t.v. shows, white women and, to a lesser degree, asian women and latinas, are considered universally attractive.  even, and sometimes especially, black guys want them.  but when an attractive black woman is paired up with a non black guy, or even pursued by a non black guy, he's usually goofy looking or not very attractive.  we grow up seeing this over and over again until it is appearant that attractive black women are not equal to attractive white women.

I think it all boils down to instincts and such. It's got nothing to do with attractiveness. People of a certain race are more inclined to be attracted to others of the same race, and as it goes, white and black people are at pretty much opposite ends of the race scale, so there are probably gonna be more white people who aren't as attracted to black people and vice versa. You're probably more likely to attract a black man than a white one. Luckily though we live in a modern society where this sort of rule has gone out the window somewhat, with more exposure to other races and what not. I'm not a sociologist or anything, but that's my opinion.

I'm sure there is plenty of forums out there dedicated to how African American women are the the most beautiful. And plus it is the media ... what good does that really ever do?Everyone has different preference or attractions, it might not be just because of skin color in a lot of cases too. I don't think its based on looks. There are most deffinately beautiful black girls! I think its based on interaction. Most black girls I know don't flirt with white guys so those guys aren't attracted to them, but white girls will flirt with black guys and the black guys become interested.. ya kno? I can see you've opened Pandora's box here, so all the haters can go over the stereotyping again. I live in Sweden (as white as it gets I suppose) so I can't really speak to any American cultural factors. The black and brown (if I can include them) population here stem mainly from eastern African and southern Indian immigrants. They come in all sizes and shapes, the overweight ones attract me as little as overweight white girls do, but fit black girls are usually a joy to watch and behave just fine in my experience. Not that into the big booty thing, but love me some color. Make the question about general demand and there's room for discussion, but the term "most undesirable" is a  qualitative assertion that doesn't really help.

They acted like everyone else, proper grammar, not over wieght for the most part, well educated, dressed stunning, and very beautiful women in general. Being Mexican, my main preference is other Mexican or just Latina women, but I am an absolute sucker for the white valley girl type. I've grown up in the ghetto so many of the black women that I've met are simply impossible to talk to. I have dated a wide variety of women but I have yet to find a black woman that is what I'm looking for. That's not to say I never will or that no black women is compatible with me. For some reason, I find it very hard to have a decent conversation with the black women in my neighborhood. I'm not saying that all black women are like this, but many of them around here are. Well I think the only black women I'm attracted to is Beyonce...so far. I like intelligent cute/innocent looking white women. That's what I look for and they are the ones I want to date. I'm friends with several black women but I'm not attracted to them physically (probably because we have been friends for a while). I know in my case it has nothing to do with rascism.
