I am tired of trying to figure him out. What happens here?

Everything goes well ... Have not heard from him in a week. I do not want to be the one who has to keep this going. What happens here? It's usually 50-50 but he goes through these periods of gap. I'm not pursuing this time, what are my chances that this is going to stay alive?

sounds like a lack of communication. talk it out and see what really is causing him to withdrew

I believe you're absolutely right. When a person is always confused, it's probably a lack of communication.
