Why does he deny having a girlfriend to me and only me?

This guy I like I have been talking to. He'll deny that he has a girlfriend, and I know the girl he is with. I found out from friends that he is definitely with her, and I can just tell. Like he asked me out and he lied to a couple of friends and said that we were dating, which is odd. He still flirts with me and everything, and when I said "Hey you have a girlfriend" he got all quiet. He brings her up to me but he denies being with her and having sex with her to me and me only. He'll admit it to other people.

Like why does he do that? He acts as if he is single to me? I of course am not gonna go out with him, but I am just curious as to what that might be? Also he told other single girls, that he has a girlfriend. So if he was just looking to cheat wouldn't he deny it to the single girls as well? I am just curious and wonder what your thoughts might be on this! Thank you!

I don't want to be judgmental about this guy but if he's that way then he's a piece of shit wrapped in chocolate wrapping - nice on the outside but crap inside. AND he doesn't certainly respect you cause if he genuinely respected you he'd have the balls to be with you instead. Not all those who seem nice on the face are necessarily so

the other single girls he told he has a girlfriend too maybe he did not like and didn't wanna hook, up with. point is he likes you or at least wants to have sex with you but doesn't wanna dump his girlfriend. he wants the best of both worlds like most guys. that's basically it.

Wants to sleep with you and keep his girlfriend.

Guy went to a trip and wanted to sleep with this girl even if his real girlfriend was about to arrive first thing in the morning and everyone knew. (don't know if the "target" knew)

And it was awkward as hell, cause the guy basically started AND KEPT saying "hey, X let's go", "X let's go" "X ?!", "come on" . And did that for about 10 mins, with clear intentions of going to the room and have sex with her.

the girl wasn't reacting in any way, but didn't tell him to stop either. What would you do in such a situation if that guy proposes sex and you're not interested ? (want to figure out if the girl was up for it or not)

Anyway, some big douches out there, but just like you, people call them friends and like them and even approve their behavior one way or another. What do you mean by "this guy I like" ? WHY have him as a friend if he has a girlfriend and wants to cheat on her with you. Wouldn't it be an insult to you too ?!

Oh of course that would be a insult to me! I do like him...BUT in a friend way/platonic way. Like I would never go out with him for multiple reasons including he has a girlfriend. I am not gonna lie though I use to like him in a sexual way when I first knew him, but I wasn't ready for a relationship, but he is super funny and so much fun to hang around, so that's all that I like about him. He is just the type of guy that you want to hang out with to have a fun (platonic) time with.

And I don't approve of his behavior, I even told him to his face "Stop lying..dude! You have a girlfriend!" and he doesn't say anything. Like I said I have a fun time with him so I think he is cool to hang with, other than that yeah he is a**hole! And I don't approve of his sh*t, and if he is or is trying to cheat on her, I know for a fact that he would do the same to me! But like I said I am willing to keep him as someone to just hang with, even though I know he's a dingleberry lol!

That is what I am conflicted with, but the fact of the matter is that he is a douche bag and shouldn't be trying to hit on me and have sex with me knowing he has a girlfriend. But that is what a lot of my friends are saying they are saying "He would rather be with you" I said yeah...but he lost my trust cause he has a girlfriend, and he is not breaking up with her, and I don't want them too! Well usually girls that don't want guys romantically don't care about if the guy has a girlfriend or not . I know I wouldn't care if a girl I wasn't into had a boyfriend or not even if she's a friend.
