Honestly there have been on rare occassion times where I'm just taking a shower after a music festival in the desert or what not where I probably do need 15 minutes.

The 3-5 minutes navy of military shower means time getting soaked. You lay out toiletries ahead of time and the longest part is getting dried off which isn't included in shower time.

If yoy plan ahead you can wash year hair first, condition and let sit whilst scrubbing down the body then rinse.

Unless you are overweight with folds a 5

minute or less shower is doable and leaves you just a clean.

Just got in there, lather while getting wet, rinse, condition then soap while the conditioner sits for s minute then rinse.

Typical Navy shower will give you a few moments to wet yourelf down, then turn off water. Use the soap to lather up then scrub yourself top to bottom. Then turn on water for a short bit to rinse off. You only have the water on for about a minute, maybe two, but you can spend time scrubbing.

Gets even worse in the old diesel electric submarines where water was even scarcer due to needing just about all of it for the batteries.

Look, if you can effectively wash your entire body, thoroughly condition and shampoo your hair, wash your face, and shave your legs and underarms in three to five minutes, more power to ya. Me, I prefer comfort, and not opening a gash on my leg with my razor because I'm moving 80 miles an hour. To each her own.

Showering is one of the best parts of my day, especially in winter when it's freaking cold.
We have lights in the rain shower head that have a timer, when they turn red it's hit 20min and I have to get out.

Water is included in rent (which Section 8 pays) where I am so don't care. I enjoy my 30 min showers since it's where I do my best thinking. If I really cared about saving water I'd just shower with a girl, even at 30 mins that's still 2x less water. Hell with a fmf 3some it's 3x less water.

I quit my job 11 years ago and never bothered getting another one so I got nothing but time. And I'm far from the only one. Just in the US alone there's 70M+ on welfare like me. I imagine Europe has even more.

that's specifically called a navy shower because its used on ships, my parents didn't have to deal with that, though its rare for my dad and mom to spend more than five minutes in the shower

It isn't specifically a Navy shower. Combat showers are worse. But yes, I was taught to shower under 5 by Navymen as vital to what we were doing because we didn't get enough time for sleep.

At the time it was impossible to get enough sleep if you messed around in the shower. Hair, makeup, whose, the whole thing has to be under 30 minutes.

Drying you're hair takes the longest. 10 minutes. But you take breaks to put on makeup and prepare hot tools. 20 minutes total.

Combat showers are ahorter. No one should need more than 5 bar shaving done out of the shower.

As a person who works out showers are tactical. I really don't have time to shower twice a day.

If workout is in the morning then all is welll but shower to full dress needs to be under 30 minutes. It takes effort for sure. 5 minute shower or less, make up, blow dry and hair straighten then curl.

I like working out at lunch because it allows my hair time to dry, in a bun before I finish my hair hours later.
