There is no “one size fits all” cure but many people have learned to MANAGE their depression, it’s chronic, but I can tell you one think walking around and saying “what’s the point, there is not cure” definitely isn’t it. Therapy, medication, whether pharmaceutical or holistic. People’s depression is brought on by different things, such as toxic situations that can be eliminated. There isn’t always a solution for everyone, I still struggle with depression everyday. But many people have been able to cope and have better mental health. I’m not a psychiatrist, so you can find one yourself. Not everyone will find a solution but many also will. But the attitudes really aren’t necessary lol @BethanyK86 @Unit1

Also I want to say, depression is in no way, shape or form a choice or something someone can control. But, your way of thinking is, if you assume all is hopeless, it will be, but you’ve already assumed the worse so you given up finding any solution or hopes for being happy ever again. You’re putting up a wall. No I’m not just saying “be happier” but assuming there’s no point and to hope for better days is a waste... well yeah that’s not going to help, at all. I’ve had depression for years, and I understand that depression is different for everyone. That’s why I said that saying there is no cure is false, cause there may be for some people. I haven’t found my cure yet, but I’m definitely not gonna give up on finding it. I’ll have set backs, I’ll feel hopeless but it takes nothing for me to try my best to have a better outlook just as a starting point. Cause I feel like I owe it to myself to somewhat optimistic. If y’all don’t want to do that, don’t. Your life, not mine.

Yea there is denfinatly cures for depression but what about the people that none of the cures work on.

Now that's why there is no cure. Cause some people cannot be fixed yeah medican and therapy can help most people but the people it cannot they don't have a cure. So some people don't have a cure.
