My girlfriend is out of town with her family and her brother and sister has to stay home because of school. They left for a funeral so they did not abandon me or the kids on purpose haha. I offered to watch them to show to her parents that I am responsible and willing to do whatever to keep on their good side so I can get her hand in marriage. And to show to my girlfriend I am family material. They do not have any close family members here because are from New York so her dad let me. Her brother is 9 and her sister is 6. However her mom warned me her brother sleep walks but I assured her it will be fine. My brother used to sleep walk so I didn't think much of it. HER BROTHER WALKS ENDLESSLY. I woke up one night to hear thumping noises and her brother was stomping up in the living room but he was asleep. Then he proceeded to stomp for an hour then go back to bed. The other day he woke me up right when I got to bed and was stomping again and all around the house. He does this goes to bed and starts again. Sometimes I will see him walk into my room and just walk around then walk in the living room. My brother never did this he woke up and walked to a different room and sat there then fell asleep. Her brother recently tried to open the front door but I was awake so I was able to stop him. They will be back in a week but its driving me crazy. I haven't been able to sleep properly and I don't want to call her or her mom because they think I have everything under control.
How to deal with a child that sleep walks (I can't sleep!)?
