Recently I've been seeing that phrase all over Facebook. Every 'voluminous' girl and some guys agree with it. I, too, used to agree with it. Why? Because I'm on the overweight side.

Pictures like these and phrases like that made me feel that it was 'okay' to be overweight because men like 'curves'.
Men do like curves, but to an extent.
I only saw this as a way to escape my problems of always being on the plus side until I stopped and thought about the slimmer girls.

It's so unfair to bash them as not 'real'. Women work to be fit and most were gifted to have fast metabolism. Sadly, I don't have that gift.

Everyone comes in different sizes, shapes, heights, and weights. We are both unique.
Just because we are different from one another, that doesn't give us the right to be little someone for their short comings or out of jealousy.

What if the tables turn? Will women still agree with the phrase?
In the end, it's about living a healthy life, but most importantly, being comfortable and confident in your own skin.
We all have our problems and we all feel insecure about ourselves. I think it's time we accept who we are as a person. If not, change what we need to change. But above all, love ourselves 'cause if don't; then we will never know what love is.
