Why are my sisters both tall and i'm not? I am 19 and still under 5ft (4'10") and they are both 5'7" and 5'8" but they are 3-4 years younger than me?

My dad is tall (6ft) so I should be the tall one because i'm a guy. My sisters should be short like my mom who is 5ft. also, are they done growing now if they are 15 and 16? I heard girls stop growing before guys so I hope I start getting taller soon.

Well it is genetics. I am 5'4 so I outgrew my mom, but dad is 5'9'-5'10 so I won't get as tall as him /And I know a family, the parents are both my height, the son is bigger, like 6' I think and the girl is my height, so genetics are weird. You are kind of at the end of growing, but maybe with some luck you'll grow a little bit more.

Im almost 6'. My two sisters are about 5'5".

My dad is 6' and mum is 5'. Its strange how it works.

Well you're 19 so you probably won't grow much more

Get that checked man, you might not be producing enough growth hormone, hopefully your growth plates haven't closed yet

I have been to the doctor several times and they say i am healthy. The tell me it is genetics.

Did they check your pituitary gland? Is anyone else in your family that height?

My mom is 5ft tall and most of her side of the family is between 4'10" and 5'2". They checked my pituitary gland and said there was nothing wrong with it. They keep telling me I am normal and nothing is wrong.

Well then I guess those are just the cards you've been dealt with, maybe you'll still m grow a bit, at least to 5 feet

Luck of the draw my friend. My grand parents from both sides are all over 5-7, but I am 5'4.
