Abdominal pain and constipation?

A few hours ago, I was having moderate to severe abdominal pain/cramping, so I tried to go to the bathroom, but nothing came out.
After I ate, I still had the abdominal pain, so I tried to go again and a small amount came out. I also went a few minuets ago, and a small amount came out again.

Should I take a laxative? Or use an enema? The last time I took a laxative, I had severe abdominal pain and diarrhea.

You may want drink more water, fruit juices, vegetable juice
if the laxative makes you feel real bad than you need to use
the enema i know constipation sucks but also be careful
you don't get lower bowel blockage oh i had that stuff and
i was hospitalized with a NG tube through my nose down
to my stomach than they suction bowel out through the tube
trust me it sucks big time, so keep your bowels open

And yeah, it definitely does suck.

I'm working on increasing my water intake every day.
