How to lose fat without having to go to the gym and workout?

I'm wondering how I can lose fat and weight without having to go to the gym and work out. I think having a good shape is a way to improve self esteem and image, but I don't want to have to pay so much to get the result.

Maybe some exercise I can do at home? Like, sit ups, push ups, jogging or something?
