I say it's a pretty bad idea. Give your mouth time to heal before you eat anything that has rough, sharp surfaces and requires a lot of chewing. Eat soup and mashed potatoes for a few days. Your mouth heals faster than any part of your body, so it shouldn't be long before you can chow down on some fried chicken.

Your physician is better equipped to answer this, but I would advise you to take it slow for a couple of days after the removal. Try not to think on the foods you've been missing right now; focus on ensuring you're healed up.
Eating anything soft should be fine, but can you not check with your maxillofacial doctor to find out for sure? You have four months, after all. I assume anything crunchy or chewy will not be allowed, but I could be wrong, I've never had surgery, only braces.
Well you probably ask your doctor what foods you should stay away from until it's alright for you to return back to your normal diet.

Your doctor can probably advise better, personally I'd go for a juicy ribeye.
