I have encountered a plethora of issues... Help?

Okay so I'm sort of living on my own as of two days ago. This means I have to buy my own food (parents are paying housing fees as I am still in school and it is an on campus apartment).

So I have to feed myself. I have a budget of $2,000. This is not very much, I am aware. It has to last me until December when I will be back at work. I would ideally like to not spend all of it.

However, I would like to eat healthy. This is difficult on a budget. This also equates to not being able to buy a lot of food.

I want to get in shape. I do not want to lose weight. I am 5'4 and weigh 105 lbs. That is actually below the healthy weight range for my height. Healthy being 107-135 (roughly). I am 21 years old.

With walking around campus, I get a decent amount of exercise.

So. I need tips for CHEAP food that is HEALTHY and provides me with enough calories to maintain my weight.

I also need exercises to do to tone up. I'm slim, but I would like to be more toned than I am. I like having a tight core and fit legs, but I need to manage my calorie intake because I don't have the money.

Anyone know any high calorie, cheap, healthy foods that I can eat in addition to toning exercises to do?

I'd like not to starve to death.
