... thanks
Any nutrition experts out there? Or personal trainers?
... thanks
First off I am not a nutrician expert or a personal trainer. But I was an open ocean rescue swimmer and served many years in the military. The biggest thing you need to realize is that muscle weights more than fat. So even if you put on a stone of fat it will not be anywhere as good as a stone of muscle and it will probably not last if you have a very high metabolism. So I would work on building muscle if you really want to put on weight and still look good afterward. Lift weights and do a lot of body building excersizes. Not so much cardio (although you should always mix in cardio also). But concentrate on muscle building.
Lift heavy weights every day and GOMAD (gallon of milk a day)-- guaranteed to gain muscle weight and some fat (which is okay from where you're standing).
Trust me and try it for a month.. or look it up yourself. GOMAD is the most renown skinny guy redemption plan out there. Plenty of guys who think they're "hard-gainers" have done it and realized they weren't genetically limited. Hope this helps.
Look into what sumo wrestlers eat. I'm being serious when I tell you this, sumo wrestler are athletes that have to put on a lot of weight while still maintaining a healthy body. The reason why they gain so much weight is from a strct schedule of training, eating and strategic laziness. If you do a portion of what they eat and start lifting you'll put on weight. Just don't burn more calories than you eat. www.sbs.com.au/food/recipes/sumo-stew-chanko-nabe
Oh you're one of those people who are blessed with a superfast metabolism :D
Anyway, if you wanna gain weight, eat healthy, and make sure to eat more than you burn. Include loads of carbs and proteins, like rice, potatoes, chicken etc. Don't eat junkfood orprocessed sugars, because they're unhealthy, and your body might actually want to get rid of them faster.

You should get a bucket of weight gainer, basically it could give you a extra 2000 or so calories a day. Even for a skinny guy your weight should shoot up if you use it right.
You should really be in the gym if you are using this though as I assume it is lean mass you are after and not fat
