I have had asthma since I was three. First cold induced, then exercise induced when I was 14. Two years later it got worse again so I was given more medication. I am currently on an albuterol inhaler, singulair, and an inhaled steroid. Now, (three years after the steroid was prescribed) it has gotten worse again. I cannot go up stairs without breathing very heavily. Any light exercise and I start to breathe heavily. I have been active my whole life, so being out of shape doesn't seem to be the issue here. My rescue inhaler isn't helping anymore either. I also have been shaky and sometimes a little light headed if I stand for too long. Also fatigue has been a bit of an issue lately too. Has anybody experienced anything like this before? I do plan on going to the Doctor, but not until December. That is when I'll be home from school for winter break. Should I see someone sooner or will I be okay until then? Thanks :)
I had that and it wasn't my asthma getting worse. My diaphragm had gotten smaller making it harder to breath. You should see a doctor or your GP and ask them cause it could be your asthma

You should see a doctor who studies about allergies, lung diseases you could
have COPD which is advance stage lung disease and your Asthma might of
turned into that disease.
I would definitely go to the doctor. it sounds like it could possibly be something more than asthma, are you eating correctly? I would go sooner than later.
