Birth Control Pills Side Effect?

Hi,
I've started taking birth control pills almost a month ago. So far the only side effects I seem to have is vaginal discharge, and vaginal dryness. I have to admit that it is less than I prepared myself for, but dryness is still a big deal for me. I was wondering if these side effects could disappear in time, and if so how long would it take?

Oh and I'm using Yasmin, if that helps.

I'm on the Nexplanon implant. Have been since January and nope the dryness doesn't go away.. I say just get used to buying lube sorry.
It takes me about 3-4 months to go through a standard bottle of lube (8-12oz) so what I suggest doing if you want to save money is to buy lube in bulk on Amazon they sell lots of 30-36oz bottles of various brands on there.

Or, you could talk to your doctor about getting on another pill. Maybe one that's higher in estrogen (when I was on Ortho-Tri-Cyclen I had no issues with dryness)

Okay, thank you. I also have low bodyfat which causes low estrogen, so I'm not sure if it's exactly Yasmin but it started all of a sudden so I think it is. Some people suggested taking Vitamin E with it, but changing the pill sounds more simple.

You're welcome ^_^ and yes you can take things like vitamin E, fish oil, eat coconut oil.. they all help a little, but not enough for you to never have to use lube unfortunately.
