Eating healthy and exercising, is the key to living to 100? Really now?

I answered a question by a girl who said
"she can't stand fat people". Reading the
answers, I notice some people agree with her.
I see a lot of weight questions on here and
I realized something, people like to assume
a persons over weight because they're lazy
and eat a lot. But, could care a less to get to
know the really reason why the person
is overweight. I think people like making
snap judgements about people, without
really knowing anything about them or
there life. I truly believe people like being mean.

I guess people don't realize that no one
chooses to be over weight. It's not like
a person wakes up one day decides "today's
the day I get fat and eat as much as I can.
All while having my self esteem be non existent.
subjecting myself to rude comments and
rejection. And, potentally being at risk for
health problems. Let's start that plan today"
It's not a choice, it just happens. And, some
people that over eat do it because there depressed
or something tramatic happen to them and they're
trying to cover up the pain with comfort food.
Plus, say a person does want to lose weight.
Do you know how hard that is? You can't just
have the weight loss fairy to come and make
it better, it takes tons of work. And, even then
there's no promises. So, people need remember
that the next time they just want to deem someone
"lazy" because of there weight!

Now, I realize people think that eating right
and exercising will guarantee you a long
life. Well, if that's the case. Then tell me, why
did one of my mom's co-workers who ate
right. exercised daily. went to the doctor
regularly. Why did he then drop dead of
a heart attack while running on the beach?
I mean, if being healthy is the end all be all.
Why do even healthy people, get sick?

I'm awfully curious how you're all going to
spin this answer so please, tell me?
