Why most people here suggest to the QA to ask a doctor when he/she posts about some MINOR issue he/she has?

For example in my case, i had a minor issue recently about not listening to the sound of the alarms during sleeping, whillst it was ringing for 1 hr non-stop. some suggested me to ask a doctor. doctor wasn't needed, i figured out what to do by my own.
I'm 100% positive that the doctor would tell me to "f*ck off" if i bothered him for asking such a silly question.

Another girl asked today that she eats only one yoghurt and a cup of cooked veggies within a day, and she doesn't feel hungry. again somebody suggested her to ask a doctor.

Another one... yesterday a girl posted a pic of her where she had a minor markon her neck that was almost unnoticable. Guess what? Some people suggested her to ask a doctor for this TINY mark!! for god's sake!!!

And so many other examples...

Why people suggest to bother doctors in order to ask such silly questions for minor issues?

If i was a doctor and everybody was asking me that kind of questions i'd quit from a doctor asap LOL

Even something seemingly minor can be a sign of something more serious. As much as I enjoy talking out my ass, I'm not going to try and give someone medical advice. I may have watched like a 100 episodes of House but that doesn't qualify me to give medical advice. The way I see it is if someone is worried enough about a problem or ailment to post it online, then they should be willing to go down to the doctors and get a PROFESSIONAL opinion.

There's no such thing as a correct diagnosis on an internet forum: that's beyond a doctor's possibilities too.
A doctor can not examine the patient, hasn't the patient's file on the internet.
If a real doctor can't, why would someone who is NOT a doctor be able?
Thus at the slightest doubt I'll send you to your doctor.

people link it to eating disorder if others eat little so they suggest the asker to seek professional help
i dont see the point of asking medical related issues, none of us here is expert, and the most we can do is google for the asker. if any health related matters, people should really see a doctor.

but i believe to annoy doctors for minor issues isn't always the best solutions. the doctor might say "f*ck off why you're asking such a silly question? i'm busy"

and one day you might have a really serious issue, and once you call the doctor, then i doubt he will take you seriously because chances are he'll think that you might ask about sth silly :-P

doctors are professional people, he wouldn't literally say that in the face of patients.
i find it equally weird when people posted some health related qns here apparently it can be quite serious and the person they should ask is doctor and not us.
whereas some qns perhaps are really askers asking for fun but commentors got serious about it

That's why I try to refrain from asking medical questions on here in the first place.
Really, what's the point of having a "Health and Fitness" section then?

For me, I'd hate for something serious to be going on that appears minor. No one here is a medical professional.
