Is going for a calorie deficit the best thing for me?

Training:
Focus your training on compound lower body lifts such as squats and deadlifts, make sure to go heavy and strive for hypertrophy range sets 8-12 reps and between 3 - 5 sets.
Exercises that I like best for lower body:
squats, deadlifts, lunges (weighted), leg press
make sure you go HEAVY, no bodyweight type shyt, push yourself and no you will not bulk up like a man since you don't have enough testosterone to do so.
Diet
I suggest you make sure you hit enough protein, 1g/pound of bodyweight so in your case somewhere around 100grams is fine. (Not hard to do), and I wouldn't worry too much about calories for now, simply keep eating until you hit your protein amounts and then stop. The more dedicated you are, and the more you get accustomed then I would suggest tracking calories. But for now simply worry about lifts and protein amounts.
No. To get toned, you need to lift weights, eat healthy, consume more protein, and do cardio. After six months of training (first cardio alone and then weight lifting alone, and finally both together), I obtained six pack abs. Neither one by itself could get me there, but the change in doing both together was dramatic. Cardio burns more fat while you do it, but your metabolism quickly returns to normal once you stop; however, after weight lifting, the boast in metabolism lasts for hours. It also burns more fat over the long haul because muscles require much more energy to maintain than fat does.

you need to hit the weight room more than worrying about calories.

go to the gym. you want to look something similar to these girls right?

well those girls gave all the sweat and dedication inside the weight room at the gym. you need to do the same. a calorie deficit won't help in terms of wanting a smokin' body like that.
You look very nice, but if you want be more toned, you should do high intensity interval training mixed with strength training.
Basically what Tokana said.
As for diet, don't do a calorie deficit unless you are obese and want to lose weight quickly.
A diet with plenty of lean meat, seafood, lots of fruit and veggies will get you shredded and allow you to build muscle to create firmness and curves in all the right places.
Good work, and enjoy.
I think you look good already, but you need to strength train to reach your goals.
