How can I help my girlfriend when?

She is having heart Palpations, she has them a lot lately mostly at night, how can I help her? As I feel bad as I just tell her it will pass, but she wakes up quite a bit in the night with a fast heart rate. How can I keep her mind off it and keep her calm?

First, has she been diagnosed with a heart condition, and is she on medication? Or is it an anxiety related thing? If so, reassurance and affection may go a long way. If, however, it is a heart disease, try to ensure she takes any medication she has been prescribed, and support her. It's really all that can be done.

She needs to go to the doctor or ER. It could be serious.
I was having them, and it turns out I had low potassium, which is dangerous.

Anxiety? Or heart disease? You first have to find out... Both requires prescription drugs. my mother used properanol for palpitation and Xanax for anxiety...
